About Grades 1 to 6

At A.V.P. Global School, the journey from Grades 1 to 6 is designed as a seamless progression—from building strong foundations to developing independent, thoughtful learners. Each stage is carefully curated to ensure that learning is not rushed, but deeply understood and meaningfully experienced.

In the early years (Grades 1–2), the focus is on nurturing curiosity and establishing core literacy and numeracy skills through experiential and concept-based learning. Children are encouraged to explore, question, and connect with their learning in a joyful and engaging environment.

As students move into Grades 3–5, their academic journey becomes more structured while still retaining a strong emphasis on understanding and exploration. This phase strengthens conceptual clarity, builds confidence, and gradually introduces independent learning habits, preparing them for deeper academic engagement.

In Grade 6, students transition into a stage where higher-order thinking, application-based learning, and analytical skills take centre stage. They are guided to think critically, express ideas clearly, and approach learning with greater responsibility and maturity.

Across all these years, A.V.P. Global School maintains a child-centric approach where each learner progresses at their own pace, with growth measured against their own potential rather than comparison with others. The focus remains on developing not just academic competence, but also confidence, curiosity, and character.
